JazzSAlive — San Antonio’s Jazz Festival October 19, 2008
We took Emma to the San Antonio Jazz Festival a few weeks ago. It may have been the first concert she’d been to. And she loved it. Her eyes were trained on the stage (though it wasn’t hard. Two performers in a band from New Orleans were wearing traditional Mardi Gras Indians’ garb. It was impossible for anyone not to be enthralled.)

So, those of you who are uber into British History will get this, and those of you who’ve seen V for Vendetta will also be in the know…The Little One had quite a look going during a recent feeding, very reminiscent of the Guy Fawkes ’stache… See for yourself — I included Guy’s mug for comparison!!!

Emma & the lion, oh, and some green beans… August 16, 2008
Most of these photos are of Emma with her new lion from a Japanese department store in NYC. There are a few photos of Emma eating green beans, which she seemed to like slightly more than the rice cereal we’d originally started her on. Oh, and I believe the set starts off with a photo of Emma and her Auntie Amanda!
